International Study Centre Canterbury Cathedral
The Dean and Chapter of Canterbury appointed Elbourn Architects to administer the latter stages of the Building Contract for the International Study Centre. Brian Elbourn was project Architect for this major development within the precincts of Canterbury Cathedral when he was an associate with the Architects Whitfield Partners.
(Sir William Whitfield). Phase 1 included an auditorium, exhibition and reception spaces, lecture rooms, audio visual rooms, offices . Phase 2 (now known as Canterbury Cathedral lodge) provided 29 bedrooms, Library, Common room, kitchens and Dining room.
In 2005 The Dean and Chapter of Canterbury appointed Elbourn Architects for a project to convert offices into a reception/ exhibition space.
This project was completed in 2006.
